The SugarBees have been playing together with this current lineup since 1998. Whether it be the silky impassioned vocals of Kim Callison, the churning burning guitars of Lowell Perlman and David Levy, or the deep and deliberate rhythms of bassist Doug Abramson and drummer John Rush, these veterans come to play and sing and do so with sheer joy. The band draws inspiration from a range of musical styles, but it is their ability to reinvent time-honored tunes that sets them apart from other bands. In their own words, "We've always been very much at home reinterpreting music across different styles and we love the challenge.
