The "core" members of the SugarBees (Kim, David and Doug) have been playing together since 1998. Whether it be the silky impassioned vocals of Kim Carroll, the guitar work of Matt Lamborn and David Levy, or the deep and deliberate rhythms of bassist Doug Abramson and drummer/vocalist Charlie Pistone, these veterans come to play and sing and do so with sheer joy. The band draws inspiration from a range of musical styles, but it is their ability to reinvent time-honored tunes that sets them apart from other bands. In their own words, "We've always been very much at home reinterpreting music across different styles and we love the challenge.
